Amin Shirazian

Amin Shirazian is a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics at Toronto Metropolitan University. His research focuses on macroeconomic heterogeneity, health, and saving behavior. His job market paper, "Marginal Utility Shocks and the Precautionary Saving Puzzle," develops a structural framework linking health investment and wealth accumulation through survival dynamics. He also works on projects examining the pass-through of subsidies to Northern communities and saving behavior across the wealth distribution.
